Dr Josephine Gillespie

Dr Josephine is a Specialist GP who graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2010 and subsequently worked at Concord Hospital, Canterbury Hospital and Broken Hill Hospital. In 2013, she worked in Paediatrics at Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Campbelltown Hospital while attaining a Diploma in Child Health.

She completed her General Practice training at various practices in western and south-western Sydney and was awarded the Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2015. Since then, she has worked in general practice in Sydney and inner west Melbourne, and at headspace centres as part of a multidisciplinary team providing holistic care to young people aged 12-25 years facing mental health and other issues. She has also been involved in tutoring and assessing medical students at Macquarie University.

Dr Josephine enjoys providing holistic care and her medical interests include women’s health, paediatrics, mental health and preventative health. She is able to perform cervical screening (pap smears) and some minor procedures such as Implanon insertion/removal and Cryotherapy.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, music, eating food, and playing board games.

Dr Josephine is accepting new patients. 

Dr Josephine Gillespie (ABN 51 686 899 651) operates as an independent General Practitioner doctor consulting at the North Ryde Medical Centre facility. She is not an employee of the Practice, and she maintains full professional autonomy in the treatment of her patients.
