Dr Veena is a Specialist GP who graduated from Western Sydney University. After completing her residency training at Nepean Hospital, Dr Veena worked for two years at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead before undertaking her General Practice training across several clinics in Western Sydney and Queensland. She has completed various terms including Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics including Paediatric Mental Health, Cardiology as well as working in an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Health Service.
Dr Veena enjoys all aspects of General Practice, in particular paediatrics, women’s health, chronic disease management and preventative health. She has a strong commitment to ongoing learning and is currently undertaking further training in skin cancer medicine.
In her spare time, Veena enjoys travelling with her husband, baking and taking her dog on new adventures.
