Dr Amy Huynh

MB BS, BSc (Med), FRACGP

Dr Amy is a Specialist GP who graduated from the University of NSW in the year 2000. She has over 15 years of experience as a doctor. She has worked in Bankstown Hospital and Campbelltown Hospital as well as doing a rural term in Alice Springs for 6 months working in an Aboriginal clinic which included doing home visits to Aboriginal communities.

Dr Amy has always wanted to be a GP and was awarded Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2005. She has worked in general practice in a number of places including Menai, Narwee, Brighton Le Sands and in St George Private Hospital as part of the After Hours GP service. She has a holistic approach to medicine and loves to help and serve her community.  She also loves the continuity of care and wide variety of challenges  that general practice has to offer.

She has interest in women’s health, paediatrics, preventative health and chronic disease management.  She also has completed a Family Planning certificate in Sexual & Reproductive Health.

In her spare time she loves to spend time with her husband and two energetic kids. She also enjoys oil painting, reading and keeping fit (she has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do).

Dr Amy Huynh (ABN 66 164 615 714) operates as an independent General Practitioner doctor consulting at the North Ryde Medical Centre facility. She is not an employee of the Practice, and she maintains full professional autonomy in the treatment of her patients.
