Dr Matthew Kim

Dr Matthew is a Specialist GP who graduated from Western Sydney University in 2013 and subsequently worked at Prince of Wales Hospital with numerous departments, and the Canterbury Hospital Emergency Department.

After working in general practice in Auburn and Mosman, he rejoins us in North Ryde having gained his Fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2021.

He loves the holistic nature of General Practice, and has a keen interest in preventative health care, chronic diseases and family medicine. He has a strong commitment to broadening his knowledge base and has completed a Masters of Clinical Epidemiology with the University of Sydney, and a Diploma of Child Health.

Teaching has also been an area of interest, and he has been a Conjoint Associate Lecturer with the University of New South Wales during his time at Prince of Wales Hospital.

He has a friendly enthusiastic attitude and likes to go the extra mile for his patients.

Dr Matthew Kim works as an independent doctor consulting at North Ryde Medical Centre. He is not an employee of the Practice, and so he maintains full professional autonomy in the treatment of his patients.
