Dr Helen is a Specialist GP who graduated from UNSW Medicine in 2005 with Honours, and started as an intern at Westmead Hospital. She also gained invaluable experience working at Blacktown Hospital, Auburn Hospital and Coffs Harbour Hospital.
She thoroughly appreciated the experience gained working with teams for general surgery, dermatology, palliative care, and paediatrics, just to name a few! Dr Helen always wanted to be a general practitioner and serve the community, so it wasn’t long before she joined the training scheme. She was awarded the Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2010, and has never looked back. She is excited about working at North Ryde Medical Centre to be the place where she can diligently provide medical service to the community.
Dr Helen appreciates all aspects of general practice, especially child health, women’s health, and preventative health. She prides herself in being a doctor who will provide dignified care to every patient.
She enjoys teaching, and is a clinical supervisor for GP Registrars and Medical Students.
She is a registered Shared Antenatal Care provider with Northern Sydney Local Health District (Royal North Shore Hospital, Hornsby Hospital, Northern Beaches Hospital).
Having been raised and educated in Sydney, she looks forward to establishing a long standing healthy relationship (pun intended!) with the community.
Her hobbies include spending time with her family, running, and baking.

Dr Herim Kwon (ABN 82 251 149 036) operates as an independent General Practitioner doctor consulting at the North Ryde Medical Centre facility. She is not an employee of the Practice, and she maintains full professional autonomy in the treatment of her patients.
